WHAT ARE RESISTIVE TOUCH SCREENS?

As one of the major touch screen technologies we offer at Nelson-Miller, resistive touch screen technology is employed in a wide range of applications ranging from medical devices and consumer products to office automation and industrial applications. Consisting of top and bottom transparent sheets facing each other with a gap between them, as the top sheet gets pressed it contacts the bottom sheet. From there, the electricity is conducted at the contact point and the location of the conducted point is detected.

Ideal for heavy usage in a wide range of operating conditions, resistive touch screens offered by Nelson-Miller ensure fast and accurate response time.   • NM-5 Touch: 5-Wire Resistive Touch Screen, available in all standard LCD sizes
  • NM-SAW: Surface Acoustic Wave Touch Screen, available in sizes 8" to 23" diagonal (CRT sizes also available)
